Hi,

My name is David Stauffer. I have been working in the commercial plumbing industry for over 40 years, starting in 1985.  I first worked as a helper and plumber, and then as a plumbing superintendent for the last 32 years. I’ve worked in a wide variety of fields, including commercial, residential, institutional, medical, and industrial work.  My experience consists of about 75% in new construction, and 25% in remodeling and renovations. I have been a licensed Unrestricted Master Plumber in Georgia since 1990, and I also have about 1 year of experience in estimating.

I created this website so that potential employers can see the experience I have. The Pictures page has hundreds of pictures dating from as far back as 1995 that show many of the projects that I’ve run as a Plumbing Superintendent. And the Drawings page has downloadable plumbing drawings from jobs that I’ve run in recent years.

I would like to make a career change and become a Plumbing Designer. I would also consider taking a job as an estimator or project manager.

I have spent hundreds of hours over the last few months learning Revit. As of 12/6/2025, I have completed the BIM 101 beginner course, the BIM 201 intermediate course, and the BIM 322 Revit Plumbing course with VDCI (Virtual Design & Construction Institute). I have just enrolled in VDCI’s BIM 361 – Introduction to Navisworks course. After I finish that course in the next few weeks, I’ll probably take some courses to learn AutoCad.
