The following are a mixture of some pictures that I took, and some pictures that I found on the web. They are pictures of some of the projects that I supervised as plumbing superintendent from 1995 through 2002.

Brumby Rocking Chair Factory (Brumby Lofts):
Brumby was the first large project that I ran as a plumbing superintendent. It was also the first of many loft apartments/condominiums that I would do in the coming years. These are pictures that I took during construction:
These pictures of the finished project are from the web:
Muses Lofts:
426 Marietta Street (The Giant):
Bass High School:
Historic Bass High School was converted into a 133 unit loft apartment development.
Gasket City Lofts:
I used semi-transparent tracing paper to help visualize this multi-story building with non-stacking units in 3D while laying out the best routing for the plumbing installation. That was the challenge at Gasket City Lofts. None of the units in this 3 story building stacked with each other.

Sessions Street apartments:
These new apartments were built to appear as old loft apartments on the interior. They were built right next door to the Brumby Rocking Chair Factory lofts that I did several years earlier.
Fulton Bag and Cotton Mill:
You might remember the big fire at the Fulton Bag and Cotton Mill. We were working there when it happened.
These are some of the 2 psi 1/2″ copper gas lines that ran in the crawlspace of one building.
Installing the water service and booster pump. We used “Gruvloc” copper pipe for the water main.
Running the building sanitary sewers and making tie-ins:
Rebuilding after the fire:
Flying tractor… my first experience.
Installing plumbing in the newly rebuilt building:

Rising up…
Specially designed grease traps (skinnier and taller) to fit within the property line:
The finished product:
Pitts-Mitchell Elementary School (later renamed Bolton Academy):
It was during this project that I converted to using digital cameras for taking pictures. These are a couple that I took using film:
